Concurrent with the market introduction of the new Mercedes R-Class in Europe BRABUS presents an exclusive tuning program for the new Grand Sports
Tourer. Highlights of the product lineup are the BRABUS 6.1 S displacement engine with 445 hp
/ 327 kW for the R 500, a sporty yet elegant aerodynamic-enhancement program, light-alloy
wheels up to 22 inches in diameter with custom-calibrated suspensions, and individual interior
options.
The new car is a concentration of Ferrari's most innovative and technologically advanced engineering solutions applied to a mid-front engined two-seater coupé. The result is a new benchmark for performance, driver involvement and design.
The Pagani F offers 50hp more than the previous model while the Clubsport racing version has 650hp to belt around the track. New carbon ceramic brakes (Clubsport only) are fitted for the first time to a Pagani and should improve braking performance considerably.
The new Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG is celebrating its world premiere at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 8, 2006. Its ultra-powerful AMG 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine delivers performance that many sports car drivers can only dream about: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in just 13.3 seconds (provisional figures). The top speed is 250 km/h (electronically limited).
